Delete Your HaulerIO Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your HaulerIO account — whether you use the HaulerIO mobile app or the web app — and exactly what happens to your data when you do. HaulerIO is business software operated by HaulerIO LLC; full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to the HaulerIO app on your phone (or the web app at haulerio.com/app).
- On the Home screen, tap the account icon in the top corner.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm — enter your password, or type DELETE if you sign in with Google or Apple.
- That's it. Your account is disabled immediately: you are signed out on every device and your sign-in is permanently turned off. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
Can't sign in? Email support@haulerio.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Company owners: if other team members are still active in your company, the app will ask you to transfer ownership or deactivate your team first — a company workspace can't be left without an owner.
What is deleted
Immediately, when you confirm:
- Your name, email address, and phone number are removed from the account.
- Your password and sign-in credentials are erased, and any Google or Apple sign-in link is removed.
- Every active session is revoked and sign-in is permanently disabled.
- For drivers, your last known GPS position is deleted (trip trails are already deleted automatically at the end of every trip).
- Your profile becomes an anonymized placeholder that can never sign in or be restored.
What is kept, and for how long
HaulerIO stores your company's business records. Deleting your account removes you from the workspace, but the company's records themselves are retained, because they are the company's books and trucking businesses are legally required to keep financial and compliance records (generally for several years). Specifically, the following remain with the company:
- Loads and load history
- Invoices and settlements
- Payroll records
- Receipts and expenses
- Compliance and audit records
A single identity note is kept in the company's audit trail where records must legally stay attributable. Retention details are in our Privacy Policy (Data Retention and Your Privacy Rights).
Delete some data without deleting your account
- In the app — documents, photos, and business records you're permitted to manage can be deleted directly. Deleted items sit in the company trash for up to 30 days (an owner can permanently delete them sooner), then are purged automatically.
- Consent-based features — location sharing and push notifications can be turned off at any time in the app without affecting anything else.
- By email — ask us to delete specific personal data at support@haulerio.com; we respond within the timeframe required by law.
